Financial and capital markets fintech investment group 42Markets has received $10 million in growth funding from Convergence Partners to advance the growth and development of its portfolio companies. 42Markets describes itself as an incubator of specialised fintech businesses with deep expertise in financial and capital markets.
South African fintech investment group, 42Markets, has secured $10m in growth funding from Convergence Partners. The funds will be used to develop 42Market's portfolio of fintech firms, which includes trading platform Mesh, financial advisory platform Andile, and foreign currency risk management system FX Flow. The investment was secured from 14 leading global development finance institutions and will enable the company to engage more effectively with these investors, said Andries Brink, CEO of 42Markets. The company seeks to identify scalable business opportunities in specialist financial and capital markets categories and then take these propositions to market.
