Out of the 30 young Africans recognised by Forbes Africa 30 under 30 class, 11 are tech professionals from Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda and Mauritius.

Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa is set to take place next week in Botswana, bringing together young business leaders from Africa. The summit will feature the 2023 class of the Forbes 30 under 30, which includes 11 tech professionals from Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda and Mauritius. Among the 11 tech professionals, Mutethia Mbaabu, CEO of MarketForce, a retail payment startup, and Germain & Hansel Ndu-Okeke, co-founders of Weevil Company, a purposive technology consulting company, are listed. The other tech professionals come from various African countries and include the founder of a digital school in Tanzania, a CEO of a tech company that specialises in digital enterprise solutions, and the founder of a water group that provides innovative solutions for household water shortage.
