Revolutionizing telemedicine, Waspito, the health-focused social network, receives a $2.5 million seed extension to further its mission of providing instant video consultations, sample collection, and medication delivery. With a hybrid model piloted in Ivory Coast and plans for expansion, Waspito aims to connect with offline patients, making healthcare accessible to underserved populations in the Francophone region.

Waspito, the Cameroonian health startup, has secured a $2.5 million seed extension from DP World, Newtown Partners, Saviu Ventures, AAIC Investment, Axian Ventures, and CFAO’s Health54. Offering instant video consultations, sample collection, and medication delivery, Waspito plans to expand its telemedicine services in Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Gabon. With a hybrid model targeting offline patients, the startup aims to make healthcare accessible to all, reaching underserved populations in the Francophone region.
