DXwand, a pioneering startup utilizing conversational AI, has successfully secured $4 million in a Series A funding round, led by Shorooq Partners and Algebra Ventures. The investment will fuel DXwand's expansion throughout the MENA region, supporting research and development in generative AI, knowledge mining, and omnichannel conversational AI.


The Cairo and Dubai-based firm, founded by ex-Microsoft executive Ahmed Mahmoud, originally targeted small businesses with a customer-centric chatbot. After a strategic pivot in 2021, DXwand shifted its focus to corporates and enterprises, emphasizing knowledge mining and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) domains. The innovative approach eliminates the manual data labeling process, enabling faster client onboarding and sophisticated use cases.


DXwand's AI-powered platform facilitates automated text and voice conversations across various platforms, including call centers, social media, and websites. It boasts language comprehension in Arabic and English, extracting valuable insights for businesses. The latest funding infusion, led by Shorooq Partners and Algebra Ventures, positions DXwand to further revolutionize customer service automation in the MENA region.💡💻
