Egyptian AI recruitment startup Talents Arena has raised a US$750,000 pre-seed round of funding to power its expansion into Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2019 by Aya Elgebeely, Talents Arena has developed an AI-powered recruitment platform featuring a talents mining engine and automation features. So far it has made more than 180,000 job matches and placed thousands of candidates in suitable tech jobs.

The startup, founded in 2019 by Aya Elgebeely, has developed an AI-powered recruitment platform with a talent mining engine and automation features. It has successfully made over 180,000 job matches and placed candidates in tech jobs. The pre-seed funding was led by UI Investments and included prominent Saudi and regional angel investors. The funds will be used to accelerate the development of Talents Arena's AI hiring engine and expand its presence in the Saudi market, which already constitutes a significant portion of its client base.
