Egyptian beauty services booking platform Glamera has successfully obtained the fintech license “SoftPOS” from Saudi Payments, the major payment system in Saudi Arabia, established by Ministry of Finance under the supervision of Saudi Central Bank, which it says will “unlock new horizons of growth and deliver an unparalleled customer experience” in the Saudi market.
Egyptian beauty services booking platform, Glamera, has obtained a fintech license called "SoftPOS" from Saudi Payments, the major payment system in Saudi Arabia. This license is expected to facilitate the expansion of Glamera's services in the Saudi market by enhancing payment transactions and customer experience. Glamera, launched in 2019, enables users to book appointments with various beauty service providers. The startup, which raised $1.3 million in seed funding, has a presence in both Egypt and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and intends to utilize the fintech license to broaden its customer base and establish strategic partnerships in Saudi Arabia.
