Kenya partners with Abu Dhabi's Venom Foundation to build blockchain, Web3 hub
The Kenyan government has partnered with the Abu Dhabi-based blockchain platform, Venom Foundation, to launch a blockchain and Web3 hub in Africa. The hub will act as a central platform for African technology firms and government entities, driving blockchain innovation in key sectors such as finance, supply chain, agriculture, business, and cross-border trade. Under the deal, Venom will provide blockchain-based solutions for land registry, supply chain management, voting systems, asset tokenization and more to support Kenya and other African countries in their digital transformation. This partnership reflects Kenya's commitment to next-generation technology and will catalyze further innovations in various industries, said Moses Kuria, Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade, and Industry.
