Days after its founding CEO Obi Ozor was appointed transport commissioner in Enugu, Nigerian logistics startup Kobo360 named current COO Ciku Mugambi the new CEO. Kobo360, a Nigerian logistics startup, has announced the appointment of a new CEO, Cikü Mugambi, after its co-founder, Obi Ozor stepped down to serve as commissioner of transportation in Enugu State. In a statement shared with TechCabal, the company’s Board of Directors named Mugambi—the COO—as Ozor’s successor.
Nigerian logistics startup Kobo360 has appointed Cikü Mugambi as its new CEO, following the departure of co-founder Obi Ozor, who was appointed as the transport commissioner in Enugu State. Mugambi, who was the COO at Kobo360, expressed her commitment to continuing the company's mission of using technology to scale inter-regional trade and complex supply chains. Fola Adeola, co-founder of Guaranty Trust Bank, was also named the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Kobo360, established in 2017, operates across 8 African markets and has moved over 9 billion kg of goods, creating numerous jobs and forming partnerships with various businesses and institutions.
