Liquid Intelligent Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government of Zambia to launch a new data centre in the country.
Liquid Intelligent Technologies has signed an MOU with the government of Zambia to open a new data centre in the country as part of an initiative to hasten the nation’s digital transformation. The data centre is meant to cater to the growing data-hosting needs of local businesses and hyperscalers establishing themselves in Zambia. Liquid will also work with the government to provide public and private cloud and cybersecurity solutions to support the digitisation of government services. The MOU was signed at the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries in Doha. The Africa data centre market size is expected to surpass $3bn by 2025.
