Microsoft’s FAST Accelerator Announces 2nd Cohort of Artificial Intelligence Program to Support African Startups
Flapmax, an artificial intelligence (AI) company, has announced the launch of its second FAST Accelerator program. The program aims to support and finance innovative businesses and entrepreneurs across Africa. The inaugural program received applications from over 800 entrepreneurs from 25 countries. The initiative, in collaboration with Microsoft, combines company growth, technology integration, finance opportunities, and community building to enable new businesses in Africa and emerging markets to provide sustainable solutions. The top 10 startups accepted into the program will have the opportunity to attend a five-week program in Silicon Valley, where they can network with business leaders, investors, and partners. The program is giving priority to business-to-business startups in sectors such as healthcare, fintech, Edutech, and industrials/agtech, as well as deep tech and sustainability. Participants will undergo a virtual bootcamp followed by a five-week accelerator program in Silicon Valley.
