Nigerian e-health startup Famasi, which began life as a medication management service but has expanded its vision to building pharmacy infrastructure to scale digital health, has raised a pre-seed round of funding.
Nigerian e-health start-up Famasi has secured pre-seed funding led by Microtraction to expand its pharmacy infrastructure. Famasi started as a medication management platform but has now set its sights on developing the pharmacy infrastructure needed for digital health to scale. The digital health platform offers personalised medication management, delivery, automated refills, free follow-ups and connections with healthcare providers. Famasi will use the new funding to grow its providers from 229 to 1,000 by the end of 2023 and onboard over 35,000 customers from its pipeline. The firm aims to power one million refills by 2027.
