Nigerian mobility startup Treepz launches in Kenya following strategic investment
Treepz, a Nigerian startup operating a digital platform that enables passengers to book daily rides and also aggregates bus travel companies, has announced its expansion into Kenya. This expansion follows investments made in the company in the past few months led by GIIG Africa Fund and several other venture capital firms. Treepz plans to build a centralised solution across the four African countries in which it operates to provide mobility services for personal and business needs. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) has made investments in mobility ventures like Treepz more attractive to investors, as policies such as these are likely to result in a significant increase in the movement of people, goods and services in Africa.
