Nigeria’s HouseAfrica, a prop-tech startup providing real estate digitalisation and transparency tools to property developers and their customers, has raised US$400,000 in funding.
Nigeria-based prop-tech start-up HouseAfrica has raised $400,000 in a funding round to expand its technology and hire staff. Founded in 2019, the company's Sytemap.com service uses blockchain and mapping technology to provide a private land registry, enabling instant transaction authentication, digitising real estate sitemaps and simplifying buying and payment for properties. The platform is used by more than 100 real estate firms. HouseAfrica aims to make the industry more transparent, efficient and trustworthy. The funding came from investors including Future Africa, ARM Labs, Niche Capital and Rebel Seed Capital.
