The public transit sector in Kenya is driving the country’s electric vehicle adoption as global calls for a switch to sustainable transport continue. Kenya's EV market focuses mainly on motorcycles, with startups building charging infrastructure to encourage adoption. Kenya's renewable energy sources and the rising fuel prices contribute to the growing interest in sustainable electric transportation.
