Nigerian shared-mobility startup, Shuttlers has raised $4 million in equity funding to expand its offering across the country. The funding round was led by Verod-Kepple.
Shuttlers, a Nigerian shared mobility company, has raised $4m in a funding round led by Verod-Kepple with participation from Vested World, Echo VC, CMC 21 & Alsa, and SheEquity. The company, which aims to provide better mobility options to individual and corporate passengers in Nigeria, plans to use the funding to build the infrastructure it needs to power mass transit and expand its reach to more communities in Nigeria. Shuttlers currently has about 260 buses driving through 300 routes across Lagos and Abuja every day, and has recorded 3 million trips since its launch in 2016. The company has raised at least $5.6m in VC funding to date.
