Techstars-backed Fez Delivery gets funding to scale its last-mile logistics platform
Fez Delivery, a Lagos-based logistics startup, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by pan-African investor Ventures Platform, with participation from Voltron Capital and Acasia Ventures, as well as angel investors. The funds will be used to deepen the company's work in Nigeria and expand into other African markets, including Ghana, Kenya and South Africa, from Q4 2023. Fez Delivery will also use the funding to improve its technology, operation efficiency, hire more talent and increase its marketing spend. The startup offers individual customers mobile and web apps to place and track orders, while offering APIs and dashboards to its business clients. It also recently developed a SaaS platform to onboard and verify trained third-party two-wheeler logistics platforms to complete orders. Fez Delivery claims to have over 17,000 customers using its platform.
