Embarking on a mission to boost Bitcoin education in Africa, Trezor introduces the Trezor Academy during the Africa Bitcoin Conference. The academy aims to empower local communities with in-person meetups and insights from Bitcoin experts, reinforcing the cryptocurrency's potential.

Trezor, the hardware cryptocurrency wallet firm, has officially unveiled the Trezor Academy, an educational initiative aimed at spreading Bitcoin knowledge across Africa. The academy, initially piloted in 2023, has been active in countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, Burundi, and Kenya. It plans to extend its reach to more than ten new African countries in 2024, conducting local meetups and educating hundreds of individuals about Bitcoin. As part of this initiative, Trezor is also supporting Bitcoineta, a Bitcoin awareness campaign using a branded Land Rover to tour West African countries, sharing the Bitcoin message with rural communities and schools. 🌍🚗💡
