In this report, Africa Legal and Rwanda Finance—which is developing the Kigali International Financial Centre—surveyed almost 300 businesses, entrepreneurs and corporate service providers in Africa to gauge the current level of cross-border expansion on the continent and how much appetite there is for businesses to expand further. The report also examines the services that are most in demand when expanding into new jurisdictions and the corporate structures that can best facilitate cross-border growth. It also features commentary and insights from experts on the approaches companies should take when entering new markets and the steps they need to follow to ensure those expansion efforts are a success.
