The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in collaboration with SIBAN and ISN, held a roadshow in Abuja on October 19, 2023, focusing on how digital technologies can unlock job creation, inclusive economic growth, and sustainability.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Emeka, the event moderator, followed by an introduction to the topic of discussion. He then opened the floor for questions and comments from the audience. Everyone introduced themselves, sharing their hobbies and how they spend their free time.

VALENTINE ODUNZE - CEO ZEEKAD DIGITAL, spoke about the importance of educating the youth about the tech space and providing them with a conducive environment to learn and develop/upskill themselves in the space.
He also stressed the support from the Nigerian government for this innovation and its commitment to developing the skills of young people.
OBINNA IWUNO - PRESIDENT SIBAN, on the other hand, emphasized the importance of NITDA and SIBAN's partnership with other tech platforms, communities, educators, academia, builders, innovators, and tech enthusiasts in reaching out to the grassroots. it is through the community that they push the mainstream to the grassroots. He also mentioned that the roadshow would take place in different parts of the country, with prior events in Lagos, Akwa, and Abuja.
He articulated the event's purpose, which is to enlist more innovators to support tech solutions in Nigeria's growing digital economy and raise 3 million technical talents.

The roadshow was a collaboration between NITDA, SIBAN, and the Innovation Support Network (ISN). And ISN is a network that has over 150 hubs across Nigeria that provides support and resources to start-ups and entrepreneurs.
