You can never overshine your master
Yes,you read right, you can never outshine your master.
You're confused about that? Well hold on and let me explain that to you.
What comes into your mind when you hear anything related to crypto currency or rather what Is the first crypto currency that you'll mention if you are told to say any crypto currency? Well I'm sure our answers will be Bitcoin and Ethereum, well this are examples of layer 1 blockchain and if you're wondering what does it means.
Simply put Layer 1 blockchain is the base architecture for a decentralized cryptocurrency network. These crypto currency well safe to say started the whole crypto currency trend.
Then after a while another blockchain came and overthrew them for a while and that is known as Layer 2 blockchain,it solved problems that Layer 1 couldn't solve such as scalability problem that is having fast and efficient transaction and also high gas fee that Layer 1 had, well Layer 2 blockchain has come to stay.
You'll wonder what has outshining your master has to do with blockchain, this is where I need you to read and understand.
Layer 2 was quick to recognize the problems that Layer 1 blockchain had and eventually solved the problem and this gave room for competition.
Of course people will forever want to use Bitcoin and Ethereum because they are definitely the Masters here, but we cannot ignore the fact that users migrated to the Layer 2 blockchain.
The blockchain ecosystem is a place where there is constant growth and outshining and if you don't evolve, well you might fade away.
The blockchain ecosystem is a dynamic landscape, constantly evolving and reshaping itself.
While familiar names like Bitcoin and Ethereum hold established positions, whispers of "overtaking" are growing louder. New contenders threaten to disrupt the status quo, promising faster speeds, lower fees, and innovative functionalities.
Overtaking is allowed and this competition has made the ecosystem to continue to grow, releasing new features.
Even if there can be bad publicity sometimes, who says bad publicity is not also publicity?
So I'll ask you this one question,Layer 2 blockchain solved the problem layer 1 blockchain had,but did they outshine the “Master”?.
There are distinct and unique features that set them aside. Despite the strengths, outshining established master isn't easy.
Bitcoin and Ethereum enjoy significant network effects, meaning their value increases with more users.
They also have large communities, established infrastructure, and brand recognition.
Predicting the future is impossible, but an "overtaking" in the blockchain ecosystem seems less likely than a multipolar future.
Different blockchains, each with unique strengths and weaknesses, will likely cater to different needs and use cases.
I said you can't outshine your master but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be left behind.
Explore challenges in the blockchain ecosystem and how they where able to overcome them.
Make research on those who dared to overshine, like solana, polkadot and see what make them standout to shake up the ecosystem.
And do not fail to equip yourself with knowledge,it's as simple as saying if you fail to evolve then you die.The blockchain ecosystem changes everyday and you have to go with the flow.
Don't miss out on potential revolution and start to evolve today, who knows you might outshine the Master.
