2. What are the requirements for opening an account?
β’ Provide a valid proof of identity.
β’ Fill out the Know Your Customer (KYC) form provided by the bank.

4. How do I make an initial deposit for my newly opened account?
β’ Transfer money from any other bank account where you're a client.
β’ If you're already a BK customer, transfer money from your existing BK account.
β’ You can also use a debit card, check, or money order for your deposit.
5. How can I withdraw money from my account?
β’ Fill in a withdrawal form at the Bank.
β’ Use a cheque leaflet for cash withdrawal.
β’ Issue cheques to creditors or clear them via the Central Bank.
β’ Withdraw using ATM cards.
β’ Send written instructions to the branch for transfers to third-party accounts.
6. Can I open more than one account?
β’ Yes, you can open multiple accounts with us!
7. Can someone else operate my account on my behalf?
β’ Yes, if you authorize someone using a Power of Attorney (POA), they can operate the account. If you wish to revoke the POA, you must do so in writing.
8. Is there a minimum deposit required?
β’ Yes, you'll need to make an initial deposit:
- Current Account: RWF 10,000
- Savings Account: RWF 5,000, RWF 20,000, RWF 50,000, or RWF 100,000
