No doubt that AI is an amazing tool that can assist almost all the jobs that exist. But it is very expensive or ‘eye-watering’ as said by its founders to run it.

A recent report stated that it was costing $ 3M per month to run it, but as its popularity increases, so does the expense.

While we remain skeptical, Microsoft has already invested $1 Billion as the initial funding and is now looking to invest $10 Billion (acquiring 49% stake).

And with this, they will be challenging Google’s dominance in the internet industry by incorporating ChatGPT with their browser ‘Bing’ and Microsoft 365 suite.

But apart from integration in existing apps, can ChatGPT be used to develop apps?

Yes-

✅ By asking it to write codes

✅ Researching the design practices that are in trend

✅ Asking it to conduct user research and find relevant data about your target audience

✅ Asking it to perform complex calculations and clarifying technical questions if stuck

✅ Asking it to find the best analytics to add to your app

These are some ways this AI can assist in app development. And as a matter of fact, even if it changes into a subscription-based model, it will receive a major chunk of business for better programming solutions

So, even though the expenses are mounting, they will be recovered soon if it was to become paid. Because the founders have done an amazing job by giving people a taste of the product for free.
