Productivity as a topic is very crucial as it affects your input to the outcome of events 

What is productivity: productivity is how efficient you are to complete your tasks at a given time. Productivity can be mistaken to be the number of tasks you are able to complete. While it may seem that the number of tasks means being productive, the quality and efficiency in which the tasks was completed means much more.

When you procrastinate less on tasks, more is achieved, there is this sense of fulfillment you feel when you are able to do what you ought to do. A productive individual leads to an organized home, a thriving business and a smooth running company.

1. Have a to-do list: a to-do list is simply a list of things you want to achieve either daily or weekly. Getting this list ready before the start of your day or week will direct your actions in the right proportion. 
 
2. Alleviate possible distractions: some distractions might be responding to messages or calls. Putting your device in airplane mode can help you focus. You can also try timing an activity and decide not to attend to any other thing until the time set is elapsed. 
 
3. Set systems for your goals: Systems are like habits that helps you achieve your goals. Once you are able to keep up with the systems you've set, achieving your goals become easy and seamless.

3. Delegate some tasks: some tasks can be delegated, identity those tasks you can delegate and focus on the ones that must be done by YOU. 
 
4. Block out distractions: distractions are almost unavoidable. You can discipline yourself to finishing a task no matter how intense the distraction is or you can make use of some apps that helps you focus. 
 
5. Set a time limit for each task: a time limit helps you stay guarded and not spend too much time on activities. 
 
Time is a great asset. Therefore, knowing how to effectively manage your time is very beneficial. As they say "time waits for no one". Whether you are idle or busy, the clock keeps moving. So, "Just do it" in Nike's voice.

You can even start a voice or video chat with your teammates on Slack. 
 
Because of the combined features Slack offers, it's easier to be in one place and do all the collaboration with your team than jumping from software to the other. 
 
3. Evernote allows you to pen down anything at any time and format. It's not restricted to text alone, you can also attach documents and images. 
 
You can create a to-do list, add a deadline and track progress. You can also connect Evernote to your Slack, Google Calendar and Teams.

Having the utensils and ingredients alone cannot make a delicious meal, same goes with being productive. Having a productivity tool without knowledge of some things like how to make good use of it cannot make you productive.
 
Now to the main question, how can you get maximum benefit from using productivity tools?
 
1. Find out the tool that best suits you: let's say you are a product manager, your day-to-day activity might include arranging and hosting meetings and assigning tasks. In order to work effectively, you need tools like Slack and Calendly.
 
2. Get a good knowledge of the tool: Now, you've known the tool that best works for you, it's time to learn how the tool works.
Just like in the earlier example, without a good knowledge you might not be able to achieve your objective.
So, carve out enough time to really master the tool you have choosen from platform like Google or YouTube. Doing this will help you get maximum benefit from using your productivity tools.
 
3. Stick to the purpose of the tool: if you have choosen a tool for a specific purpose, it would not be right to use it for another purpose. For example, Trello can be used to organize tasks or meetings but using it for discussions aside work wouldn't serve a good purpose.
 
The sole aim of productivity tools is to do more tasks in less time, therefore, applying the tips above will greatly improve your productivity. Go ahead and enjoy your tools.
