Tosin Osibodu, the founder of Nigerian stock investment platform Chaka, has stepped down five months after the company's merger with Rise. Osibodu has joined Alpaca, a global API-centric trading platform, to expand its presence in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. While Osibodu remains a shareholder and advisor at Chaka, questions arise about the future alignment of Chaka and RiseVest under the sole leadership of CEO Eke Urum.
