Egyptian insurtech startup Amenli has closed a US$1 million equity funding round to help it expand its team, further build its product and grow its brand.

Egyptian insurtech startup Amenli has successfully concluded a $1 million equity funding round aimed at supporting its expansion, product development, and brand growth. Founded in 2020, Amenli specializes in various insurance types, with a focus on medical, car, home, and business coverage. They also manage customer claims on behalf of insurance companies. The round was led by Alter Global, an international VC firm, with participation from the Qatar Insurance Company’s corporate VC arm, Digital Venture Partners (DVP).


The investment will empower Amenli to introduce new products targeting existing and new customer segments, enhancing insurance accessibility. Additionally, the startup plans to dominate the B2B2C space, leveraging its insurance API to provide innovative solutions. Despite the current economic challenges, this funding signifies strong confidence in Amenli's vision and future growth.
