South African tech company GoMetro has successfully secured £9 million in a Series A funding round led by Zenobē Energy, a major investor in electric buses. GoMetro specializes in logistics optimization software, with its flagship product, Bridge, consolidating vehicle data regardless of make or model. The collaboration aims to elevate services and capabilities for Zenobē Energy's extensive customer base, focusing on robust data quality for financing in the fleet management sector. The nine-year-old company, with a network of over 15,000 vehicles, plans to utilize the funding to solidify operations in the U.K., Europe, and South Africa, as well as expand to the U.S., Latin America, and Australia in the next 12 months. GoMetro aims to triple its revenue by the end of the next year, emphasizing its commitment to advancing electric bus and truck management.
