South African recruitment startup JOBJACK has successfully secured ZAR45 million (US$2.5 million) in pre-Series A funding to revolutionize entry-level job recruitment in the country. Founded in 2018, JOBJACK offers a user-friendly, web-based platform for job seekers seeking entry-level positions. The platform has witnessed almost two million job seekers registering, with an additional 2,000 signing up daily. This funding round, led by NEXT176 and backed by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, will enable JOBJACK to expand its network, enhance operations, and connect job seekers with life-changing employment opportunities. The startup is committed to making entry-level job recruitment more accessible and affordable.
