Kuramo Capital Management is set to inject $150 million over the next decade to empower female-led businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa through its Moremi Platform. The program includes an accelerator, a warehousing/lending facility, and a Fund of Funds, all aimed at promoting gender-equitable fund management and supporting African women entrepreneurs. The accelerator program provides education, mentorship, and capacity building to 40 female fund managers and entrepreneurs annually, addressing the financial and knowledge gap for women in business. By fostering female fund managers' growth, Kuramo aims to enhance women-owned businesses and drive inclusive, long-term economic and social growth across the continent.
