Women Who Build Africa is set to Invest in 10 Early-stage African Female Founders
The first-ever Women Who Build Africa (WWBA) Assembly will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, on September 13-14. WWBA, a community that supports women working in tech across Africa, is inviting women founders, investors, and ecosystem partners to express interest in attending. The event, sponsored by various organizations, will offer ten female founders the opportunity to travel to Nairobi free of charge to pitch their startups to top investors and network with ecosystem partners. The Assembly will include pitch presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and social activities for networking. Applications can be submitted until August 14th, 2023, and selected startups must have at least one active female or non-binary founder. WWBA was founded in 2022 and has over 600 members throughout Africa, organizing events in different cities.
